But in a matter of days -- Oct. 19 -- we have a federal election here in Canaduh.
Almost certainly, and hopefully, our current American lapdog, prime sinister Stephen Harper, will be gone. If the polls are correct, he is in danger of losing.
The country, in general, hates him. He has cut services. He has NOT fixed infrastructure. He has laid off civil servants.
He has NOT reduced taxes, though he HAS reduced services. That is like your bank INCREASING the monthly service charge you pay, while NOT increasing your services.
This all has understandably caused a backlash. Voters, generally, WOULDN'T TRUST HIM AS FAR AS THEY COULD THROW HIM.

We have all gone gonzo.
Several of his senators have cheated the public purse and/or resigned. Election irregularities in previous votes (sending people to the wrong voting locations, so they COULD NOT vote).
He is a SHRIMP on the world stage, in every way, and a country once known for its reasonableness and compassion has suffered on the world stage.

Feel and HEAR our pain. We have gone WAY to the right. It's NOT who we are.
